Start with one connected avatar
Avatar Studio lets you build a character from layered choices such as skin, hair, eyes, expression, wardrobe, extras, hands, and feet. Those choices form one character state instead of a separate copy for every page. When you change the avatar, the rest of the Grim & Goldie world can render the same look.
That matters most when the character moves. Front, back, left, and right views need consistent ordering so hair, capes, hands, tools, and facial features do not jump into the wrong layer. The Avatar Room and Gremlin Island use the same underlying appearance while adding movement and page-specific effects.
Your Familiar travels with you
The active Familiar is your avatar’s companion. It follows around Gremlin Island and now stays visible beside the avatar on the Planner. The Planner does more than place two still images in a corner: it chooses occasional paired animations so the characters fetch, ride, nap, orbit, or celebrate together.
The mini dragon has its own sequence. Your avatar tosses it a cooked chicken leg, the dragon reacts, burps a small flame, and leaves a bone behind before both characters return to their resting pose. These moments are decorative and do not spend an inventory item.
Use the Planner as a living dashboard
The Planner keeps the current week, tasks, schedules, and other widgets inside a tablet-style layout. Guest visitors can still see their current session avatar and Familiar even though persistent Planner changes require the appropriate saved profile. Long-press color controls and layout editing let the dashboard feel personal without disconnecting it from the rest of the site.
Your Avatar Room is the home base
The Avatar Room brings the character into a customizable home. Its top-right controls are grouped inside one labeled Settings gear, including Home lock, randomize, undo, sound, and HUD visibility. That keeps the room itself visible while making the utility controls easier to understand.
In online Gremlin Island rooms, each active player can be connected to a house and name tag. Other players can see a safe public profile and the correct customized avatar, while private save data such as inventory, money, and personal progression remains with its owner.
Keep experimenting as you level
Not every Familiar, creature, extra, and shop item is visible on a new profile. Unique award actions fill blue petals and raise the level flower. Unlock scenes introduce new arrivals as they become available, giving the avatar world a reason to grow as you explore more of it.
